61. RP Channels - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
A good channel to have random chats with RPers from many different factions is "The Summit". Can get quite heated in there, but it's generally a lot of fun :D ------ Innovation is a product of madness.

62. Why do Amarr players whine so much about there ships? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Anyone that says Amarr are crap hasn't flown a properly fitted Armageddon. Those things with nice skills are entirely awesome and cheap :P ------ Innovation is a product of madness.

64. Feb 02 Singularity: Little Ship Discussion - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I explained my thinking in another thread, but I'll develop it here further: If you want people to fit 125mm Rails, you need to up the PG, not lower it. At 33 PG, if you have AWU lvl 4, you can just about fit 3x 125mm Rails, 1x MWD II and two ot...

65. An important announcement from Naqam Heavy Bioindustries! - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
Yep, I certainly had all those symptoms, Lyra, instead of having: - A crushing sense of the futility of my actions. - Realisation that I was working for a God that did not care about me in the slightest. - Hatred and fear from planet bound Amarr ...

66. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
It doesn't really take that long to train for a new races inty, to be fair. And I don't really think that nerfing the higher end inties will improve things: the crow doesn't really need a change, because it's damage is not that great anyway, while...

67. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
There's a reason why I don't fly the crusader as well. To be honest, I would rather see all inties slightly improved. The Malediction is more of a combat inty than any of the other inties, yet the changes for it were welcomed. The Crusader certain...

68. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
True, but why take the choice away from the players? Also, dps with 125mm rails at 30 km is pretty piddly, while the 150mm can still do decent damage at those ranges. Why limit the player in terms of what they choose to fit? ------ Innovation is a...

69. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
The idea I had to make the raptor be able to fit 125mm rails without needing a MAPC would mean the following: Upping the grid from 26 to 33 grid: How does this help? Wouldn't people just fit 150mm rails? Well, yes, if they fit a MAPC. With 33 gr...

70. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I think the root of the problem is that CCP don't want the raptor to fit 150mm rails. I know for a fact that with 35 PG, a ranis still needs a MAPC to fit 150mm rails. If we keep the PG of the Raptor at 30, he just needs to fit a single MAPC in ...

71. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
You have a lot more cap issues with 150mm Rails, though: it's not even cap stable enough to run an MWD for long. Coupled with the fact that it has lower tracking, coupled with the fact that equivalent range with 150mm and 125mm rails with a single...

72. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Let's have a thought experiment: First of all, let's consider: is a 35 PG Raptor overpowered in comparison with other ships? Most of my gunnery skills, except for specs, are maxed out: In a ranis with no damage mods, using 3x125mm rails and Fact...

73. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I honestly prefer fitting 125mm rails with faction iridium and a MFS, truth be told, on the ranis. Mostly because I fight lots of inty duels and the tracking helps a lot. As for the crusader, dual light beam setups do work, but do suffer tracking ...

74. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Kostantin Mort on 06/03/2008 15:46:14 Well, currently I fit Ranises with 125mm and they work well enough for what they do. As for comparison with the old setup, to fit two 125mm rails and a t2 mwd takes 31.4 PG, which is just shy of...

76. Raptor changes don't help at all. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
(I apologise if this is a repost) I was actually getting excited about the Raptor changes. I'm no fan of split weapon setup, which is a reason why I don't fly the Ares, but the forthcoming change to the Raptor got me excited. I like turret ships a...

79. On Sansha's Nation - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
I think the true hilarity stems from your own assumption of your own morality, Mr. Lok'ri. You fallback on old, antiquated human morality, one that even then is faulty at best. The only morality necessary is one that supports survival at the exc...
